Wedding Ceremonies

Wedding ceremonies are performed by the Judges of the 39th District Court. 

To be married at the court: 

  • The parties must obtain a Marriage Certificate from the Macomb County Clerk. 
  • The parties must pay a filing fee of $10 to the 39th District Court. 
  • The parties must have at least two witnesses over the age of 18 present on the date of the ceremony. The court does not provide witnesses for the ceremony.
