    January 17, 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Fraser Public Library

    This storytime is for children 18 to 36 months. Children will listen to stories, sing rhymes, do fingerplays, and each storytime is followed by a brief playtime with developmentally-appropriate toys. PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY FOR ALL PROGRAMS-Children are easily distracted. Late arrivals quickly become the focus of everyone’s attention. Arrive early to visit the bathroom, chat and choose a great seat.     Children ages 3 to 5 will listen to stories, sing rhymes, and make a craft in each story time session. The benefits of story time for children include: increase attention span, enhance visual discrimination skills, practice auditory processing, reinforce word recognition, examine social situations and behaviors, and instill a love of books!     Children, especially beginning or struggling readers, are invited to come read to one of our therapy dogs, who are very patient listeners! Grab a comfy spot in the Children's nook and read a book or two! This is a drop-in program, no registration necessary.

    This storytime is geared specifically towards babies 0-18 months. Parents, family members, and caregivers are invited to bring their young ones for a morning of songs, rhymes, and even a story! This is a great way to introduce literacy practices to your baby! Storytime runs about 20 minutes and is followed by open play. There will be no meeting July 3rd. Registration required and begins September 5th. PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY FOR ALL PROGRAMS-Children are easily distracted. Late arrivals quickly become the focus of everyone’s attention.
