  2. Intro to Pickleball (50+)

    January 7, 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM @ Fraser Senior Activity Center

Tuesdays, January 7th & 14th We know that you’ve been hearing about it! Come out and try it! We will be hosting a two-week class from 6pm – 7pm on Tuesday, January 7th and 14th. The best way to explain this sport is that you use a paddle the size of a racket ball racket, a ball like a whiffle ball and a net like tennis. The court is a lot smaller than a tennis court. According to Barney McCallum (creators of the game), it was officially named after the Pritchards’ dog Pickles, who would chase the ball and run off with it. Cost is $7 Members and $10 Non-Members. Give us a call to sign up and you can pay on the first day of class.
